Home Birth Focus is held at the College of Midwives, 376 Manchester Street. The workshop is covered in one day from 9.30 am to 3.30pm |

A discussion around the events that might trigger a transfer to hospital and what aspects of your home birth philosophy may be maintained in the hospital environment with support from your midwife.
Expectations of a Newborn
Baby’s first moments, the importance of skin to skin, supporting breastfeeding, the first few weeks of your baby’s life. You will have the opportunity to talk to parents and their new baby.
